The house is situated 350m above sea level on a hillside at the edge of unbroken countryside some of it wild and remote. Walk direct from the house or take a short drive and there are inumerable walks through the most wonderful countryside. A little to the west is the Canyon du Verdon, immediately to the north the Gorge du Loup and to the east about one and a half hours drive away the National Park of the Mercantour. Inbetween these are hundreds of walks some well signposted, others more remote. We will be delighted to help you plan your excursions. |
