Hi, it's September 2008.

Unlike the UK, we have had weeks of beautiful weather since early July with warm sunny days, lunch on the covered terrace and occasional forays for lunch of grilled trout in Greoliers in the mountains at one of our many 'favourite' restaurants.

We are now looking to the calendar for next year. Many weeks in the high season have already been taken by people who have stayed in the past and re-booked. We believe that our prices are the most competitive you will find for a villa like La Lisonniere in a similar position. For the earlier part of the year, commencing 3rd January 2009 we can accept either three four week bookings or two 6 weeks bookings on a very special offer. Throughout the whole of this period, the weather is normally dry with bright sun, becoming cooler in the evening when the sun drops. We very rarely have frost and hardly ever snow. The normal price for low season would be 1290 euros per week. We will do four weeks for a total of 2690 euros plus charges, that's a 50% discount on low season price. For six weeks we can quote you a total of 2990 euros plus charges. That's six weeks for the price of a single summer week. Why not take up one of these periods and enjoy lunch out on the terrace looking across to the Mediterranean which turns bright silver at mid-day.

That then takes us almost to Easter when there is usually strong demand but we will try to offer a special price for early booking.

If you can't manage to take the full four weeks for either of these periods, phone or e'mail and we will quote you a very competitive price for the period you want.

This year we have had a lovely summer with some overcast weather in early July, but otherwise dry and warm. Further north throughout Europe the weather has been awful. We have many repeat bookings and this year is no exception. We are already booked from the 13th June to the 27th August and we would anticipate that further enquiries will translate into bookings for September.

If you are not tied to school holidays enquire soon about possibilities in May or September. It's quieter than the paek season, it's not as hot as peak season and it's less expensive.

If your plans do not fit exactly with this calendar, don't hesitate to get in touch with us, we are very flexible about periods and will try to do something for you at our normal low winter rates.

It is very difficult to compare like with like in property rentals but we think that our prices are unbeatable for these offers considering the location and the quality of La Lisonniere. We think that this is supported by the fact that we get many repeat bookings. If you think that you have found something as nice, in as good a position, at a lower rental, get in touch with us and we will check it out and see if we need to amend out prices. We would hope to give you the best possible value for money at all times of the year but especially we believe that these special offers represent absolutely unbeatable value for money.

Have you ever thought how easy and inexpensive it now is to commute from Nice to London, Paris, Brussels and many other European Capital Cities. If your children are not yet at school age spend a winter down here and just travel back to work during the week. There are excellent bi-lingual mother and toddler groups.
